Two different Redondos
Ask anyone who lives here and they'll tell you North Redondo and South Redondo feel like different towns, and the grills reflect it. In North Redondo (90278) there are a lot of townhomes and small-lot single-family houses, many built in the last few decades, with a grill on a patio or a second-floor deck. It's a little farther from the water, and while salt still reaches it, the damage builds more slowly.
South Redondo, in 90277, runs right along the coast from the pier down to the Palos Verdes line. Condos on the bluffs, older beach houses, and homes in the Hollywood Riviera area all sit close enough to the ocean that stainless starts showing salt within a season or two if nobody's cleaning it. We set cleaning intervals differently for each: once a year is often plenty up north, and twice is the safer bet down by the water.

Learn moreCondo complexes and shared grills
Redondo has a lot of multi-unit buildings, and many of them have a common grill or two by the pool or in a courtyard. Shared grills get used hard and cleaned by nobody in particular. By midsummer the grease tray is overflowing, one burner won't light, and someone has left the knob on.
We work with property managers and HOA boards to put those grills on a regular cleaning and inspection schedule, with a short written note after each visit about what we found. Our HOA grill maintenance guide explains what a reasonable schedule looks like and what a board should keep track of.

Common Redondo Beach questions
Our condo rules limit grills on balconies. Can you still work on mine?
Yes, as long as the grill is allowed where it is. If your building has rules about service hours, elevators or where equipment can go, let us know when you book and we'll follow them.
Can you service a grill that runs off the building's natural gas line?
Yes. We check connections at the grill and look at flame quality. If we find a problem in the building's supply piping, we'll tell you so the right person can address it.
My grill is in the Hollywood Riviera area. Is that Redondo or Torrance?
Part of the Hollywood Riviera is in Redondo Beach and part is in Torrance. We serve both, so it doesn't matter for booking.
How much does a cleaning cost?
We don't post prices because they depend on the grill's size, brand, condition and parts. Call or text, or send photos, and we'll quote it.
