Hillside homes with room to cook

Ladera Heights is an unincorporated part of Los Angeles County on the hills between Culver City, Westchester and Inglewood, next to the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area. It's mostly single-family homes, many built in the 1950s and 60s on curving streets, with views toward the Westside and downtown. Lots are bigger than in much of the city, and backyards are used for gatherings.

That shows up in the equipment. It's common to find a large built-in grill in a stone or stucco island, a side burner, a refrigerator, sometimes a pizza oven or flat-top, and a gas fire pit a few steps away. Each piece wears differently, and they're often from different brands and installed in different years.

One visit, the whole island

Rather than calling three companies for three appliances, you can have one tech go through the whole outdoor kitchen on the same visit. We cover the details on our outdoor kitchen service page, and if you'd like to do some of the upkeep yourself, the outdoor kitchen maintenance checklist and getting your grill ready for summer are good places to start.

Fire pits and pizza ovens tend to get forgotten until a party is on the calendar. If yours sat through the winter, plan a visit a couple of weeks ahead of time. Our pages on fire pit service and pizza ovens and griddles explain what's involved.

Ladera Heights questions

Can you work on appliances from different brands in the same island?

Yes. Most outdoor kitchens are a mix. Our techs are trained on the premium brands and carry common parts for many of them.

My island grill is old but the island is in great shape. Can I keep the island?

Usually. We can measure the cutout and install a new grill that fits, without tearing out the stonework. Our cutout measuring guide explains what we look at.

Do you service gas fire pits that aren't attached to the kitchen?

Yes, freestanding and built-in fire pits and fire tables both.

How is the job priced?

Pricing depends on how many appliances you want serviced, their size, brand, condition and any parts. Call or text us or send photos and we'll quote it.
